It appears that nightmare of Samsung is not over yet. Last year after Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, the company was desperate to make a good impression with its latest phone, the Galaxy S8. And it seemed that they were successful this time. But, Some early Galaxy S8 adopters have been reporting a flaw in their newly-purchased device, saying the display appears to have a reddish tint to it. People of South Korea are early adopters of the device and they are reporting this issue.
They are posting on forums and social media, claiming there’s a red hue to their screens. “Galaxy S8 Red Screen” was even a trending search topic on the country’s largest search engine, Naver.
Let’s wait for Samsung’s official statement over this issue.
In a latest development, samsumsung confirms the issue of Red Screen and also confirms that it is not a hardware fault but a software issue. Here is the official statement of samsung :
“The Galaxy S8 was built with an adaptive display that optimizes the color range, saturation, and sharpness depending on the environment. If needed, users can manually adjust the color range of the display to change the appearance of white tones, through ‘Settings > Display > Screen Mode > Color balance’.”
